the role of each part of the fastener:
Bolt: a fastener composed of two parts, the head and the screw, generally used in conjunction with the nut;
Stud: Fasteners with threads at both ends;
Screw: A fastener composed of a head and a screw, divided into machine screws, set screws and special purpose screws;
Nut: with internal thread hole, with bolts, studs to use;
Self-tapping screws: similar to machine screws, but the thread on the screw is a special thread for self-tapping screws;
Wood screw: the thread on the wood screw is a special thread, which can be directly screwed into the wood parts;
Washer: A type of fastener in the shape of a ring, placed between the nut, bolt, screw and support;
Retaining ring: plays the role of preventing the movement of parts on the shaft or hole;
Pin: mainly used for parts positioning;
Rivet: A fastener consisting of a head and a shank. It is used to connect and fasten two parts with holes, which cannot be removed;
Assembly and connection pair: assembly refers to the fastener supplied by combination; connection pair refers to the fastener supplied by the combination of special bolt and nut washer;
Welding nail: a different kind of fastener, which is fixedly connected to a part by welding method, so as to be connected with other parts.
